Meet Scott Luchies – Fremont’s Sandwich King

Born and raised right here in Fremont, Scott Luchies has always known two things: hometown pride matters, and a great sandwich can fix just about anything. In 2016, Scott purchased The Lunch Pail and set out to build more than just a restaurant — he built a local favorite where fresh food, friendly faces, and full stomachs come standard.

Known around town as the “Sandwich King of Fremont,” Scott takes his sandwiches seriously (some might say too seriously). Fresh ingredients, stacked-high creations, and making sure nobody leaves hungry are all part of his royal duties.

When Scott isn’t ruling his sandwich kingdom, he’s enjoying the community that raised him and continuing to make The Lunch Pail a place Fremont can proudly call its own.
